Grinding, Honing & Lapping
Tolerance Masters‘ full machine shop includes equipment for grinding, honing and lapping services, producing items like sleeves, slides, valve plates and yokes.
We are skilled in universal, cylindrical, and surface grinding, and work to close tolerances, with accuracy within 1 micron. Our machinery features a center feed, CNC functions, and integrates gaging & programming for maximum accuracy and efficiency.
Our grinding services can produce pieces up to 12″ in outside diameter, and 8″ inside diameter, with a maximum width of 6″ and maximum length of 40″. Inspection is done using optical profilometer, bore gage, air gage, and camber gage. As one of our strongest core capabilities we offer multiple capabilities.
